Bases are boring

So some of my friends have been using bases A LOT. I find it quite annoying to be honest. I'd rather see original art than bases.Bases are for people who can't draw or lack self confidence. Seriously, you would learn more from drawing from scratch rather than using bases. Most of them are poorly used on MSpaint and horrible.
Don't make excuses like "I can't draw" or "My art is ugly". Just learn to draw, it's not that hard. But it does take a lot of patience. Let people criticize your artwork buy telling what looks good and what needs improvement. If you can't handle comments like "the colours look awful" or "that's the ugliest thing I've ev
